Badminton is fun!

Whee! Have a packed week coming up, but all of it is fun activities! (hopefully band camp will be fun...) Anyway, We had a badminton outing today, just 4 of us with 1 court for 2 hours... We played doubles for the whole 2 hours, rotating partners all the way... Wow... Granted I didn't do much running, but I'm a little shocked I managed to last that long. Although! My service is all wrong... When I want the shuttlecock to go left it ends up going right, and vice versa... I seriously lack practice... We need to go play badminton more often! All interested parties will let me know in future I hope, though I think I'd like to change the grip on my racquet first, it's quite... well, annoying... I hope I don't get a blister on my hand...

After that, we went for lunch and ended up at Mau's place playing mahjong... But before that there was a round of SF II on his Xbox. SF II? Yes, Street Fighter II... The super old, really not very fun game we used to love and adore at arcades... I mean really, they don't even allow you to block in the air, which basically means once you jump, either you hit him and throw him off balance, or he hits you... Usually hard... As it were, seeing he only has one controller, we ended up playing using Ryu and using -only- Heavy Kicks... We got up to E-honda before we all got beaten to tiny little bits, before Mau stepped in and beat him (yes we took turns), before losing sadly to Guile... After that someone finally decided to bring up chairs and a mahjong set, so the game started. Leaving out important details, let's leave it that I was the sole winner today... ^_^ Anyway after that we all left for home and here I am! After a shower of course...

As I mentioned though, I've things on everyday this week, so I hope it'll be fun... There's band pract on Wed, and I've a very strange question to ask... Should I try to learn how to play the tuba? I mean, we've (NTUSB) gone for many practs without a single tubist in sight, and personally I feel that the base part of any band is the most important part... I mean, without a support, how can you even think about building anything? Of course, there's absolutely no way I know how to play a tuba properly considering I don't even know the fingerings for them and stuff, besides for the Bb scale which I'm not even very confident of... Oh well, we'll see, maybe band camp I'll play around with one and see how things go.

Band camp on Fri-Sun! Wonder if I should stay over... I mean, if there're people staying over den I dun mind lah, but if everyone's going to stay in hall and stuff, I'm not going to be the only one living in NYH yarh? It's quite... ulu and all... Maybe I'll ask emmy if anyone's staying...

Ah well, I can't wait for the rest of this week to come... It sounds like it's going to be fun! I hope so anyway... At least it gives me something to take my mind off thinking so much, which seems to only come up when I've nothing to do, but that's normal isn't it? Bleh I'm tired and my back aches... Oww...

Looking forward to the week! But I still want my mp3 player back!!!
