The Saturday of 4th Feb 2006

The night before was supposed to be a 11 hour long 7pm-6am ktv session for 9 of us at Cine. Unfortunately we failed to anticipate the large number of people at the place and ended up getting thrown out at 1am+... That really kinda sux cos 3 hours is just not enough. I suppose we all kinda had fun though, with people bouncing up and down on the sofas (which probably explains some of the damage I see at certain outlets) and generally being quite high. Mimi and Huixian have fantastically good voices omg, was totally shocked to hear Mimi sing cos her singing voice and her talking voice are worlds apart, dunno how she manages it also. Den again I think that her current talking voice kinda suits her erm... bubbly personality more anyway. =p

After the-very-short-ktv session we ran off to Jinyuan's hall to find stuff to entertain us till band starts, which ended up with me going back to fetch my mahjong set, laptop and music dvds (which no one used in the end o.O) and us playing mahjong till day broke. As usual I went camera happy since I forgot to bring it to ktv, and took quite a number of photos... Though with the silly no flash mode I've got to hold the camera steady for an annoyingly long time before moving anywhere otherwise the foto ends up as fuzzy as a caterpillar.

I think it was a good thing that we crashed for a few hours before going to prac, cos otherwise most if not all of us would be happily snoozing away when Oura-san's trying to conduct something. Belkis is fun btw, but any piece now sounds terrible due to the serious, severe, excessive lack of players... No idea why people don't want to commit to us, NTUSB has such a lot of nice people to hang around with, tho I won't say there aren't people I don't particularly fancy either. But I'm sure that's true anywhere else too no? Anyway prac went on okaly but Adeline seems kinda annoyed recently... Wonder if it's due to the lack of attendance (not that she can do much about it anyway.) I really don't like the idea of String Orch prac, even though I'm not involved, cos it steals people away from the dinner group after every prac, ending up with just Daniel and I in the end. (Congrats again btw *cough* =p)

Got kinda sian after leaving the band room though... Thought about some stuff like how freaking much work I've got to do before tests start next week and how to pull my bad but not extremely horrendous grades up among others. Thinking is bad for you, in case you didn't know, took me an hour to finally get to sleep even though je suis très très fatiguée... Sux!

OMG how come the clarinets' voices are all so power... I want to sing like that too!
