NUSSO

Went for NUSSO pract today upon request from Weiji who said they didn't have any people to play, and I've come to realise, that I really like playing in an orchestra. The sound of the section 3/4 trombones blending together with the handful of winds, most of us in tune (save that other guy), really nice! I love the chord structure, the articulation, the clarity... When you can hear yourself, and everyone else not lost in huge mass of sound... I wish I could play more in an orchestra, but I know I kinda suck too much to permanently situate myself in one... Haiiz... Of course I'm not saying that NTUSB isn't fun, but it would be nicer if everyone could pay more attention to intonation and articulation, and not just blast and blast and play anyhow. I'm saying all this in reference to my section mainly, but it isn't that the lot of you need no work either!

I say this because I've heard the recordings of the recent Sojourn, and they aren't too bad, but they could use a lot of work too... Bah I'm lazy to write anymore...
