Back after another long absence

Yes, hi, I'm back... Not sure if I'm going to be keeping this up again on a regular basis, but I highly doubt it. =)

I've lapsed back into my bad habits from past sems again... Yup, skipping lectures and tutorials again. And this sem I've even managed to not go for Japanese lessons uhhh... twice? Once because I was in quite a terrible mood, and the other because I had a test the next day I wanted to study for, which I did, of course.

Uh oh, just noticed my air-con seems to have gone poof... The panel's displaying weird symbols and the buttons aren't exactly working properly... In this horrible weather?? Eeks... Maybe the excess filtering it has to do because of all the dust is causing it to go wonky... Please please please don't die on me, I desperately need an air-con at this time!! Especially with parts of Indonesia still merrily burning away =(

Lots of things I want to complain about, even more I want to talk about, but there just doesn't seem to be someone I can safely empty my mind out to. Sad, guess I'm having one of those times that I wish I had someone to listen to me again... =( But I shall start here with some things that have been annoying me:

Severe lack of money... As usual, it's likely that I've been overspending quite a bit, so I guess I should start curbing my spending... But I still need to start sourcing for more sources of income! My current one tuition student is quite nice (even her over-friendly dog), but I think I can afford to find more to support my expenses =p So if anyone has tuition students (secondary school please) for math and/or science can let me know thx...

I want to watch 2 upcoming musicals, Notre-Dame de Paris, and Phantom of the Opera... One has international fame to support its critical acclaim, and is something we're all familiar with, but I'd like to see it in the flesh (so to speak) at least once... Notre-Dame will be performed in its native language, French. It seems my tutorial group is quite interested in going for it, and hopefully we can persuade M. Francois to get us that 15% discount =p Such a fantastic chance for us to take stock of how much we actually know from all those French lesssons we've been attending, but I think we should (probably) be able to understand uhhh.. quite a bit of it. =p Obviously both musicals are going to drain my already emptyish pocket, so I'm going to have to beg/borrow/steal some money from somewhere... Let my tuition agent call me soon with a good offer!!

Studying is starting to get to me... No, it isn't that I've been intensively mugging 24 minus sleeping hours a day, and that I'm beginning to burn out, but rather that I haven't been doing any work at all! Going to console me by telling me that it's the same with many other people? Nah, complete and utter rubbish... Everyone's quite in that mad frenzy of studying, or getting into it already, and I think it's high time I started... (what's low time? O.o) I'd like to use NYH as a studying place as per last year again, but looking at the study group from last year, I'm seriously wondering who's actually going to come back to join us... Perhaps we can coerce... I mean invite some of the year 1s... Studying at home is extremely difficult, especially with my nice comfy bed behind me, but I think I'll explore the intricacies of my school library this sem, maybe heading there early in the morning so that there's actually somewhere to sit... But all this talk is useless... Must take action!!

Other things on my mind... I don't think I particularly want to discuss here... Perhaps if you're really curious you can ask me, and I'll decide if I want to whine to you ^_^ (Hey, I don't just whine to -anybody- you know...) But suffice to say I haven't been dreaming of being an unwed moth... erm father with a 4 year old kid with yellow hair and blue eyes, who's smarter than me? (Why would he be smarter just because he knows the alphabet before you teach it to him?? Couldn't he have picked it up from someone/somewhere else? Just a thought that suddenly occurred to me) Details of the above should be extracted from the person who had that dream, and identities shall be revealed by request. Though I'm sure she'd be more than happy to share the details of her dream with you; she was so psyched to tell us about it over dinner (*rolls eyes*)

Not really a very long entry, but I think it'll do for now... Anyone with details of a good local Korean restaurant please let me know, thx thx. ^^
